Twilite Homes of Dallas, Texas offered a 10 foot wide by 36 foot long two bedroom home for folks on a budget and/or for lots in the older trailer parks. You have to remember that by 1959 mobile homes
averaged 50 feet long and that many parks that were built earlier when 35' was a long trailer! Hence many of the lots were designed to accomodate the smaller units only. This model is unique in that the trailer
offered a front kitchen (that was extremely narrow!) and a center bedroom with a 'fold-against-the-wall' double bed and a 'swing-away' wall to enlarge the living room during the daytime. The bath was located at the
rear with a narrow child's room that boasted built-in bunkbeds. The manufacturer claimed that this was a 'red-hot' model!
